
Gallagher has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Brokers’ House, a specialty commercial and facultative reinsurance broker headquartered in Istanbul. This marks Gallagher’s first direct presence in Turkey, further expanding its international footprint into a strategic hub between Asia and Europe.

The firm employs 25 professionals and has been part of Gallagher’s Global Network Partners since 2014. Under the new agreement, the leadership team of Gündüz Tezel (CEO) and Levent Özbilen will continue to guide the business, ensuring continuity for clients and partners.
The acquisition enables Brokers’ House to scale significantly by gaining access to Gallagher’s global network, resources, and expanded suite of insurance solutions. The business will rebrand to Gallagher in the coming months.
