
Jonathan brings almost three decades of policy and geostrategic expertise in the Singapore Government, having served as Ambassador to Türkiye, Deputy High Commissioner to India, Bhutan, and Nepal, and First Secretary (Political) to the United Nations in New York. He notably oversaw Singapore's strategic engagements with India and South Asia as Director General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He currently sits on the Board of ITE Education Services Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Singapore’s Institute of Technical Education (ITE), and is co-Founder of Huntington Sistem Global Pte Ltd, a Singapore-Türkiye business development company.
Awarded the US Fulbright Scholarship in 2004, Jonathan graduated from the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and Georgetown University. In 2019, Jonathan was conferred the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (Public Service Medal) by the President of Singapore.
